Alan Zweig is an award-winning documentarian whose films have played at festivals worldwide. In the autobiographical trilogy Vinyl, I, Curmudgeon, and Lovable, Zweig intertwines personal reflections with interviews to create unique and hopeful portraits of humanity. His other films include A Hard Name (which won the Genie Award for best feature documentary in 2010), When Jews Were Funny (Best Canadian Feature at TIFF 2013), Hurt (TIFF’s Platform Prize in 2015), Hope, Coppers, and Records.
