award-winning filmmaker and students from across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Complete with lesson plans, students will have an opportunity to engage through our online platform in polls, Q&amp;A, Harris<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Alicia is an award-winning filmmaker from Scarborough, Ontario, whose work is dedicated to celebrating Black people, especially Black youth. Her short film <em>Pick<\/em>, screening as part of this programme, earned a prize for Best Live Action Short at the 2020 Canadian Screen Awards. She is host of the Canadian Black History podcast <em>Strong and Free,<\/em> produced by Historica Canada and Media Girlfriends Inc.
