A note about the new Ontario Guest Speakers in Schools guidelines:

You may have heard that the Ontario Ministry of Education issued new guidelines in September 2024 about guest speaker presentations, specifically for events that involve the entire school or multiple classrooms.

Don’t worry!

REEL CANADA is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Education. Our programmes are developed with licensed educators and school administrators, and designed with applications to Ministry-mandated curriculum.

Some schools in Ontario may simply ask teachers to share information about guest speaker presentations with parents in advance. We’re happy to provide a template letter about any of our programmes – just get in touch.
