Art Department
Responsible for the overall look of all sets and locations to be filmed.
The Art department is responsible for helping the director realize their vision for the overall look of a film or television. Led by the Production Designer, this team works together to design, build, and decorate all the sets and locations on a production. They may be responsible for constructing sets in a studio, or dressing locations that aren’t custom-made for the production. They are also in charge of acquiring all of the props on set, and of prop continuity between shots.
